Indication

Indications
For the treatment of falciparum malaria caused by chloroquine-resistant and multidrug-resistant strains of worms. It can also be used to treat intermittent malaria.

Dosage
1.Adult dosage is 1.8g per day in divided doses for 14 days for the treatment of falciparum malaria caused by chloroquine-resistant strains.

2. For the treatment of falciparum malaria caused by chloroquine-resistant strains in children, 0.1~0.2g daily in 2~3 doses for those less than 1 year old, 0.2~0.3g for those 1~3 years old, 0.3~0.5g for those 4~6 years old and 0.5~1g for those 7~11 years old for a course of 10 days.
